i am writing this from memory i didn't ake notes so forgive me if it is out of order.. sumary.
it started off with the annoucement of a bible display (mueseum) being built that focuses on jehovah's name in the bible.
(i found it funny that few if any bible predate the 12th century because that's when the word jehovah was created bet that get's left out) the speaker went into the work done searching for various and the miracles donations and loans that happened to bring this about.
Particularly enjoyed the Apple-esque rollout of the new App, with wireless headset and all. That was pretty entertaining.
the annual meeting seems to boil down to an opening talk about an "exciting new" bible museum and a closing talk about an "exciting new" new world translation.
sandwiched in between were the wt summary, a talk about indoctrinating the children fast/furious, and some "trip down memory lane.".
why would this "spiritual feast" seem to be anticlimactic?

Actually, they kind of did acknowledge this. I believe after Pierce (the video was out at this point) announced the new year's text, he said how appropriate it was for the 100th anniversary of the birth of the kingdom.

The new font is quite easy on the eyes and readable. The leather cover has a nice feel to it.
Otherwise, the meeting was a bit of a letdown for me. I wanted more craziness รก la last week's WT.

Well, here's my final predictions for the meeting (for whatever it's worth.) Can't wait to see what happens Saturday!
1) New Bible (of course) but it will not be called the New World Translation anymore. May be renamed something like the "Divine Name Bible"
2) We need more money and free labor. A form of tithing will be instituted, but it won't be called tithing.
3) Some new and absolutely batshit crazy nonsense trying to re-reinterpret a past doctrine that no one even cares about. Probably won't mess with the 144k, as it was just mentioned at the WT study last week.
